Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Kno mobile application operated by Kno ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our App, you confirm that you:

Are at least 13 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
Agree to comply with these Terms

2. Description of Service

Kno is an educational mobile application that provides bite-sized educational content across various categories including science, history, psychology, and more.

Important Notice

The content in our App is aggregated from publicly available sources for educational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional advice.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

You may create an account using your email address or use the App in Guest Mode without registration.

Account Responsibilities

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Kno and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Use

You may:

View and read content for personal, non-commercial use
Share content through the App's sharing features

You may NOT:

Copy, modify, or distribute content for commercial purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer or extract content systematically
Use automated systems to access the App

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KNO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kno from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
